ANNUAL SCHEDULE

The first group lesson of the year will focus on Composer of the Month John Dowland and basic note-reading. If you need a refresh or you’re just starting out, come to learn and ruin your dinner with cookies.

We’ll celebrate Doctor John Bull, MODES, and cookies!

I understand that Cobb County and Paulding County have separate Fall Breaks this year. Ours will be this week.

Practice performing before the real performance. Receive feedback, reassurance, and last minute adjustments from teacher and peers.

Students perform for a judge and receive the prestigious Wall of Fame awards that hang in our hallway!

Yay!

Teachers will attend the Georgia Music Teachers Association conference in Valdosta.

We’ll play “Which Composer?” and study Renaissance Era Ornaments and Improvisation! We’ll make ornaments, talk about ornaments, and eat cookies!

Enjoy your family, but don’t forget to practice! You have a performance coming up!
